Tesco 'scam' warning as fake website offers items at huge discounts

Online shoppers have been warned about a 'Tesco scam' that seems to offer items for sale at significantly reduced prices. One puzzled customer, unaware of the fraudulent activity, asked, "Is this too good to be true? " after she stumbled upon what seemed to be a "Clearance Sale" on the supermarket giant's website.The 'scam' page advertised a pair of electric bikes for £49.99 each, apparently offering savings of £119.01 and £99.01.
