Sue Radford's 'dreams shattered' after she loses dream home

Sue Radford, the matriarch of Britain's biggest family with 22 children, had her sights set on a tranquil life in the countryside, a stark contrast to their bustling 10-bedroom house in Morecambe.Their hopes were dashed when the purchase of an idyllic £850,000 country home fell through.

Sue expressed her disappointment: "We really wanted to move to the countryside for a quieter life, a bit more privacy. When it fell through it was absolutely gutting, but sometimes you think these things happen for a reason and I guess it was just not meant to be.

It was upsetting when it happened. The house move was an emotional episode."The Radfords, whose brood spans from young tots to grown adults, had even toyed with the idea of leaving five of the oldest children in their current residence.

Despite the blow, Sue senses a silver lining, admitting she's somewhat relieved they're no longer moving."It always bothered me that some of the older kids were going to still live in this house and we were going to go and live in the new house," she revealed to OK!
