Sherlock actress Amanda, 50, quit Strictly midway through the series, citing medical reasons. However, she has since alleged that Giovanni, 33, used "bullying" behaviour while training - something which Giovanni denies.
Following new comments made by Amanda, in which she said Giovanni's behaviour was "abusive" and "unnecessary", the ex-Strictly pro has hit back, saying he "refutes these allegations".
A spokesperson for Giovanni said: "The BBC has shared allegations from the inquiry with Giovanni, who has cooperated fully." They went on: "None of the allegations carried in the Sun on Sunday are included in any shape or form.
