Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams has opened up about being in the dance-off at the weekend, admitting 'my best isn't good enough.' The BBC dancing show contestant and his professional partner Nikita Kuzmin found themselves in the bottom two for the first time this series alongside Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu.
Angela's journey ended came to an end as the judges chose to save Layton. On Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two, Layton addressed how he failed to hugely impress judges with his American Smooth at the weekend.
He told presenter Fleur East on Tuesday's BBC Two show that he was disappointed. He said: "I totally get it. It's been 10 weeks and I'm not going to lie, I thought I would be in the bottom two much more than that.
I was nervous because the last time I had done this kind of vibe was Movies Week and it didn't go down as well as I would have hoped.
