If the excitement has kept you awake and you're up early on Christmas day, the TV may already be on and if so, you may be surprised to see that Good Morning Britain and Lorraine is on the air like it usually is early in the morning on weekdays.

That's because there is a festive special of the ITV news programme airing for the fourth time this year with some of the show's familiar faces helping get viewers in the Christmas spirit.

From 7am, the Good Morning Britain team will kick off the festivities before Lorraine serves up special performances from Joss Stone and the Change + Check Choir, during her show from 9am. Other celebs including Graham Norton, Boy George, Joel Dommett, Matt Lucas, and the Duchess of York are to send Christmas messages, while comedian Stephen Fry is to open the show with a beautiful festive poem by the Christmas tree.
