Stephen Schneider Joins NBC’s ‘St. Denis Medical’ In Recurring Role
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Stephen Schneider is checking in to St. Denis Medical. The actor has joined the NBC comedy series, which will premiere later this fall.
He will recur in the series and plays the hospital chaplain Steve. Schneider appeared in season three of HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones and is best known for his role as Jeremy Santos on Comedy Central’s Broad City.
He also played Ty Wyland in FX’s You’re The Worst and in ABC fantasy comedy Imaginary Mary. St. Denis Medical stars Wendi McLendon-Covey and David Alan Grier and comes from Superstore and American Auto duo of Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin.
The mockumentary series is centered in an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.
