Star Trek actor Mickey Cottrell has passed away at the age of 79 after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.The sad news of his death was confirmed by his sister Suzie Cottrell-Smith who described her sibling as the "the most fun brother ever".
Mickey, who was best known for playing Chancellor Alrik in Star Trek, died on New Year's Day at the Motion Picture & Television Fund in Woodland Hills.
The late actor had a stroke in 2016 and went to live with his sister in Arkansas before returning to Los Angeles in 2019, the Mirror reports.
Paying tribute to her brother, Suzie told Deadline: "He was the most fun brother ever. So many good memories of when I was a kid — we’d sing together, dance, just all kinds of fun things that went on all the time when he was around. "He was just so fun, full of life, entertaining.
