South Lanarkshire Council is promoting Safer Internet Day today and raising awareness. February 7 marked the twentieth edition of Safer Internet Day and South Lanarkshire Child Protection Committee is supporting the event and encouraging everyone to come together for a better internet.

Safer Internet Day is celebrated across Europe, in the UK, and the Safer Internet Centre is organising campaigns and learning based around the theme of ‘want to talk about it?
