Scots sports hero Sir Chris Hoy has is working hard covering the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris - after battling cancer. The third-most decorated Olympian in British history revealed his diagnosis in February.The 48-year-old, won six golds and one silver medal during the four Games he participated in, was diagnosed in 2023 and initially kept his condition a secret.But the former champion, a regular pundit and commentator for the BBC's cycling coverage, later opened up to his followers on Instagram and asked for privacy.The Mirror reports he is still battling away, working in broadcasting, having headed to the French capital.

His BBC work comes after being pictured at Wimbledon earlier this summer and the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, appearing to be in good health.Speaking back in February, he said: "I currently feel fine.

I am continuing to work, ride my bike and live my life as normal. It's an exciting year of work ahead, not least with the Paris Olympics in July. "I can't wait to get stuck in, have fun and share it with you all.
