Victoria Beckham's upcoming Netflix show has put the brakes on a Spice Girls documentary. The fashion icon, who made her mark as Posh Spice, will star in her very own mini series produced by none other than her hubby David Beckham's outfit, Studio 99.
But in a shock twist, Victoria hasn't yet extended an invite to the rest of the Spice crew to appear on the show. Sources close to Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner say they have been trying to get a Spice Girls documentary off the ground for at least six years.
Now, there are concerns that their endeavour might be on hold again due to Victoria's busy schedule. A source told the Mirror: "The girls have been trying to get a deal going for several years, but it never could get over the line.
Now Victoria has her own project about her own world, family and experiences. The question is, just how much will the project be about the Spice Girls, and who will be asked to contribute to that story?" David's streaming success with his eponymous Netflix series only hints at the potential buzz for Victoria's solo venture.
