dailyrecord.co.ukA popular Nectar card offer has made a comeback at Sainsbury's in time for Christmas - but there is a catch. The supermarket giant has launched its Nectar Double Up promotion once again after the deal was discontinued in 2021.
The scheme allows shoppers to swap Nectar card points - the loyalty card used at Sainsbury's - for vouchers worth twice as much.
The retailer pulled the plug on the scheme two years ago in favour of personalised offers and discounts, trialling different schemes using Nectar points for some customers since then.
However, the company has now brought back a version of the Double Up offer, renamed Points Power Up. The scheme allows shoppers to double up Nectar card points and swap them for in-store vouchers.
