The pair were reunited on Thursday (November 23) to front the ITV daytime show from the studio while Dermot O'Leary was sent of to the This Morning forest.
At the top of the show, after welcoming viewers and revealing what was to come over the two and a half hours the programme is on air, Alison and Rylan sat down to discuss the latest news headlines and other quirky stories catching people's attention.
It was during the segment that Rylan, 35, told Alison, 48, about his surprise working from home attire while he was recording his BBC Radio 2 during the pandemic which saw him host his Saturday afternoon show from his sprawling home in Essex.
