Royal fans defend Kate Middleton as Vogue editor brands her a 'disappointment'

Royal fans have rushed to defend Kate Middleton after she was dubbed a disappointment for her approach to jewellery by a former Vogue editor.Suzy Menkes, who is the author of the book The Royal Jewels, claimed the Princess of Wales does not "give any sense of adoring jewellery" as she compared her to Queen Camilla, who she said loves wearing jewels.

Over the years, Kate has sported several stunning pieces including necklaces, earrings and divine tiaras from the collections of the late Queen Elizabeth and her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

"I imagine her looking beautiful in one of those gowns and then her sort of pulling a face as if to say, “Do I have to wear this? "Maybe she is, maybe she's a mother and really doesn't want to spend her time putting these things around her neck.
