People in Greater Manchester may be able to see the iconic Red Arrows fly overhead on Sunday. The aerobatic team will taking part in the Blackpool Airshow and look set to be seen in the skies above Greater Manchester on Sunday afternoon ahead of their finale at the seaside resort.

The Red Arrow display at the Blackpool Airshow will begin over the iconic seafront at 5:00pm. READ MORE: Blackpool Airshow 2024 Sunday timetable, line-up and schedule The aerobatic team will fly from Blackpool Airport, flying over Southport before heading over Horwich, as they over Bolton towards Blackburn and Preston.

From there they will fly over the promenade for the showcase. The Red Arrow display will be over just 20 minutes, as it closes out the weekend of aerial activity.

The jets will return to Blackpool Airport before taking off again at 7:25pm to return to RAF Waddington. You can expect to spot them in Greater Manchester from 4:54pm flying over Standish, Horwich, before turning over Bottom O'Th'Moor.
