The Ukrainian dancer is fully back in the Strictly bubble having started rehearsals with his fellow professional dancers weeks ago before pre-recording the launch show of the BBC One dance contest's 2024 series on Wednesday (September 4).
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly on her self-titled ITV show on Thursday (September 5), Nikita was asked about how the Strictly team are as they return in the wake of the scandal surrounding the much-loved ballroom and Latin programme. The show is back! We're back... Very good," before he added that Strictly is like a "warm blanket". But talk quickly turned to his own show, Midnight Dancer, which will see him perform up and down the country from March 2025. "It's quite scary actually, being honest," admitted Nikita, who questioned why he'd been given his own tour and why people would come out to see him. "But it's just so exciting.
