The 39-year-old actress took to Instagram on Thursday (August 1) to share a video in which she explained her exit from the show ahead of the highly anticipated 50th season. “After four seasons, I will not be returning to SNL for the 50th,” Punkie said in the video, adding that she first revealed the news at a stand-up show last night. “I said, ‘Oh, I ain’t coming back,’” Punkie revealed, adding that she woke up to tons of text messages about the news.
