justjared.comOne Tree Hill is making a comeback! It was revealed on Friday (August 30) that Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton are developing a sequel series for Netflix, where they are set to reprise their roles and executive produce.
The new series is said to pick up 20 years later and centers on Brooke and Peyton. It is expected to see them dealing with “love, insecurities and grief” while raising their now-teenaged children. Danneel Ackles is also set to executive produce, alongside husband Jensen Ackles, and she is also in talks to return.
