After revealing her terminal cancer diagnosis earlier this month, Victoria Jackson is not living in fear. The Saturday Night Live alum explained that she feels “so blessed” with the time she’s had as she spends time with her family while treating an inoperable tumor on her windpipe. “My two daughters and my four grandchildren, they came over this weekend, and they were like, ‘Are you sad?

Are you scared?'” Jackson told People. “And I thought, ‘Well, I’m not sad. … ‘Why am I not sad?’ Because I don’t miss anything in their childhoods.

I video every day of my daughter’s lives. … And I don’t miss one thing with my grandchildren: tap [dance] recitals, acting shows, ever.” She also explained that it helps achieving just about “every dream” she’s “ever had,” including starting a family, visiting Paris and appearing on TV (Jackson was an SNL cast member from 1986 to 1992). “Whether I die at 65, 70 or 75, what’s the difference?” added Jackson. “I’m so blessed to have had a long life and a wonderful life.” Jackson, who previously survived breast cancer, announced this month that she has an inoperable tumor on her windpipe that “eventually would suffocate me to death.” “They’re giving me a magic pill.

It’s going to be delivered to my front door within the next 12 hours. It’s based on Ribociclib, and it will shrink the marble, hopefully,” she said, adding, “I looked up the pill on Google and it says people who take this have 32.6 months to live — something like that.” If the Ribociclib does not work, Jackson told People her doctors will attempt radiation therapy to hopefully shrink the tumor and give her more time with her family.
