Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aware they have "went too far" with their attacks on the Royal Family and seem to be looking for "some sort of reconciliation", according to a PR expert. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not held back on their digs at the monarchy since stepping down as working royals in 2020 and moving to the US.However following Harry's memoir Spare, the couple appear to have settled when it comes to voicing their opinions, according to the Mirror.
It comes in the light of King Charles' cancer diagnosis, which saw Harry rush to the UK to be at his dad's side. According to Pauline Maclaran, Professor of Marketing & Consumer Research in the School of Management at Royal Holloway, the Sussexes likely decided to stop attacking the institution after realising they "went too far" with their criticism. "Harry's book Spare criticised the Royal Family heavily.

Harry and Meghan have even appeared to be looking for some sort of reconciliation." The PR expert added that the repeated criticisms of the royals may have hurt their reputation in the US.
