A vital post office in Lanarkshire which closed suddenly must be re-instated as a “top priority”, an MP has insisted.As constituents expressed their shock at the closure of the branch in Motherwell’s Muir Street, Marion Fellows has received an apology from Post Office bosses.The Motherwell and Wishaw MP had contacted them, voicing her dismay at the loss of the facility, which the Post Office says is “temporary”.The SNP MP says many of her constituents were left unable to access cash or use other services.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
