Police officers thanked 'crime-fighting cows' who helped them to capture a wanted man. The officials say it was a 'high steaks incident' and the suspect was told to stop running, but it clearly went in one ear and 'out the udder'.The dramatic incident occurred earlier this month when officers from Devon and Cornwall force were tracking the fugitive as he tried to make his escape in the countryside.
The chase was filmed from a helicopter by the National Police Air Service (NPAS) South West Region on December 6.The footage shows a shadowy figure being followed by a herd of around a dozen cows in a field.
It is unclear if the cattle where annoyed or curious at the man entering their field, reports Devon Live. However, it is clear their involvement helped officials to finally capture the wanted man.
So much so, that at the end of the video, the Police NPAS crew ask their colleagues on the ground to "thank the cows."The NPAS shared the clip to social media, with the caption: “Watch the moment a man on the run from @DC_Police was herded up by a group of cows in Devon and ‘mooved’ out of their field into the arms of waiting police officers.
