In just a few days, families across the country will plate up and tuck into a feast of turkey, pigs in blankets, piles of potatoes and all the trimmings.

Should the humble Yorkshire pudding be part of a Christmas dinner? When we floated the idea with our Facebook readers, there certainly seemed to be plenty of opinions.
And a lot of people were only too happy to declare that Yorkies would definitely be making an appearance on their plates on Sunday.Sharon Farquharson reckons Yorkshire puddings "should be a part of most meals" whilst Morgan Moir said she'd "have them with every dinner or even better, a plate full of just them for dinner." Lesley Manning goes one step further and suggests having them as a starter with onion gravy and even a bit of stuffing.Let us know your thoughts in the comments.Tori Johnstone said: "Given it’s just a basic roast chicken dinner for my house for Christmas dinner then yes Yorkshire puddings are part of our dinner!" But not everyone agreed.
