A Scots student who suffered from headaches has died just months after being told that his brain tumour was inoperable. Jordan Kearney, from Peterhead, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer when a large, 4cm mass was discovered after an appointment at an opticians in June.
The 22-year-old was taken into Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where an emergency biopsy was performed and three weeks later he was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM grade 4).The tumour was inoperable due to its location and the Record previously told how the young man was undergoing chemo-radiotherapy as his family searched for alternative treatments.
However, on Thursday Jordan passed away leaving his family and friends completely devastated. His aunt Lisa Ann Kearney lead the tributes as she hailed her nephew in a heartfelt message on social media.
Lisa said: “Jordan Kearney was tired and you called him home to heaven on Thursday. You could never of meet a kinder person who never had a bad word to say about anyone. “He was caring and full of life.
