A police helicopter was seen flying overhead on Sunday afternoon (April 2) following a reported firearms discharge in Little Hulton.
Officers attended the scene to reports of what is believed to be a firearms discharge in the area of Hulton Avenue shortly after 4pm.
An investigation was launched, with two police scenes put in place nearby as enquiries were carried out. There were no injuries reported in the incident and no arrests have been made, Greater Manchester Police added.
