Police have launched an appeal for information after a BMW was set on fire.Cops have initiated the search for witnesses following a wilful vehicle fire on the A737 westbound near Dalry.Emergency services were called to the road around 11.30pm on Saturday, December 2 to reports of a silver BMW on fire.
The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of any injuries. Detective Sergeant Andrea Templeton said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch. “We would also ask anyone driving in the area at the time who has dash-cam footage to contact us.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 4165 of Saturday, 2 December, 2023."Alternatively, calls can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
