Partner of missing cyclist found dead thanks Scots friends and family for search efforts

The partner of a man found dead after leaving his home in Inverness has thanked family and friends for their search efforts.

Grzegorz Ulas failed to return home after leaving his family home at Cranmore Drive in the city at around 10am on Thursday, August 31.The 46-year-old cyclist, who was seen riding an orange bike, had last been seen at around 7.15pm the next day at the SPAR store on Barn Church Road in Culloden.

However sadly officers informed his family on Saturday, September 9, a body had been discovered in Inverness.His partner Roksana Ulas thanked close ones for their help, writing on social media: "I would like to thank to all my family and friends who supported as in the search for Grzesiek.

In deep sadness I need to inform that Grzesiek said goodbye to this world and is no longer with us."Friends and family also paid tribute to the 'one of a kind' man.
