Parklife is the second most affordable festival in the UK, according to new stats. The Manchester festival, which attracts 80,000 people each day, came in just behind the Lindisfarne Festival in the rankings.

The data has been pulled together by Get Licensed, crunching figures like cost per artist and the percentage increase in ticket price.

Parklife’s ticket price is £130 for a weekend pass, making it £1.88 per artist on the bill. It’s also actually dropped in price by 1% over the past five years, one of only two festivals in the top 10 to have actually got cheaper since 2018.

It compares to the top-rated Lindisfarne festival, which costs £108 (£1.42 per artist), with a 3% increase in price over the past five years.
