19, 1949. The Hollywood Reporter reported she was born in Harlem on Dec. 19, 1937.Clark worked as a model before getting into acting.
Her first major movie was 1968’s “For Love of Ivy” alongside Sidney Poitier.She went on to appear in 1969’s “Putney Swope,” directed by Robert Downey Sr.; “The Landlord” in 1970; as well as “Slaughter” and “Night of the Cobra Woman” in 1972.Other notable works include “Enter the Dragon” (1973), “The Beast Must Die” (1974), and “Switchblade Sisters” (1975).
