Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan has been branded an 'icon' as she suggested a role in a Netflix hit following her own success with the streaming platform.

Before joining the ITV soap as Daisy Midgeley in 2020, the actress enjoyed some Netflix fame as she starred as Gaby Grant in two seasons of the streaming service's series, Free Rein.

But lockdown hit six months after filming on Free Rein and it wasn't until the summer of 2020 that Charlotte was invited to audition for Corrie and the rest, as they say, is history as she made her Weatherfield debut at the end of 2020. Taking to Instagram, she shared a number of photos as she posed outside in the autumnal weather while sporting a cropped white shirt and black tie under a vibrant yellow jacket.
