The sixth series of Love Island began broadcasting on 12 January 2020 on ITV2. The series was announced on 24 July 2019 when it was confirmed that two series would air in 2020, and is also the first winter edition of the series. Unlike the summer edition, the luxury villa is located in Cape Town. This series is also the first to be hosted by Laura Whitmore, having taken over from Caroline Flack. The series is narrated by Iain Stirling.

Paige Turley has mole removed due to concerning health check results

Paige Turley has revealed that she has had to have a mole removed. The former Love Island winner took to Instagram on Wednesday, where she informed her followers of the surgery, which took place after she received concerning health check results.

Paige, 25, shared a montage video of herself at a doctor's appointment before laying out on a medical bed and lifting up her top ahead of the procedure, as she thanked her fans for their messages following her recent CT scan. .

The influencer - who rose to Love Island victory in 2020 with her partner and now longterm boyfriend Finley Tapp - had initially taken a routine health test in January, which led to the findings.

It comes after Paige spent some time in hospital in May 2022, following what she described as 'minor surgery'. Both Paige and former footballer Finn were promoting Pall Mall Medical services online and visited their premises at the beginning of the year to get health checks carried out.
