Oscar Isaac & Greta Gerwig's Off Broadway 'Three Sisters' Production Indefinitely Postponed

Fans will unfortunately not be seeing Oscar Isaac and Greta Gerwig‘s off-Broadway production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters anytime soon.

The previously announced production has been indefinitely postponed due to scheduling conflicts, the theater company confirmed.

The New York Theatre Workshop production was being directed by Sam Gold from a new adaptation by Clare Barron, and had originally been announced for their 2019-20 season.

The pandemic originally pushed back the production, which was set to be staged in the summer of 2023. Keep reading to find out more… “Unfortunately, new scheduling conflicts have arisen for the production’s in-demand artists which proved to be insurmountable in bringing the production to life during the 2022/23 season,” NYTW said in a statement, via Deadline on Monday (March 6).
