Ana De-Armas
Ana Celia de Armas Caso (born 30 April 1988) is a Cuban actress. She began her career as a teenager in her native Cuba and most notably had a leading role in the romantic drama Una rosa de Francia (2006). At the age of 18, she moved to Madrid, Spain and starred in the popular teen drama El Internado for six seasons from 2007 to 2010. After moving to Los Angeles, de Armas had English-speaking roles in the horror film Knock Knock (2015) and the crime drama War Dogs (2016). She had a supporting role in the sports biopic Hands of Stone (2016).

‘John Wick’ Spinoff ‘Ballerina,’ Starring Ana de Armas, Sets Release Date

William Earl As “John Wick: Chapter 4” crosses $250 million at the worldwide box office, the eagerly-awaited spinoff “Ballerina” has received a June 7, 2024 wide release date from Lionsgate.

The action film stars Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, the late Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves. “Ballerina” will be directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten, and produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski.

The official synopsis of the film is brief, but teases that “The world of John Wick expands with “Ballerina,” as Ana de Armas stars as an assassin trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma.”.
