'Not a big issue' - Andre Onana explains why Manchester United concede so many shots

Goalkeeper Andre Onana says he is not concerned by the number of shots Manchester United are facing, claiming their offensive style of play is a direct contributor.

Despite earning a respectable point against Liverpool last Sunday, United had to withstand 28 shots from the visitors. Since the March international break, United have conceded 87 shots over just three matches.

It has resulted in their style of play being heavily criticised. But Onana, who has improved considerably as this season has developed, does not believe it is a 'big issue', suggesting it stems from his teammates' desire to get on the front foot. "But I don't think it's a big issue because at the end of the day, football is about goals and now we are scoring a lot. "We'll receive some against us sometimes, but we have defenders that work hard and we will do everything to block the shots.

It's the risk we take because we are a very offensive team with the quality we have in front." United have had to contend with an unprecedented amount of injuries, particularly at centre-back.
