Hopes of an Oasis reunion appear to be a world away after a spikey rant by Noel Gallagher. There had been rumours - or perhaps just wishful thinking - that the band would reunite to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the release of Definitely Maybe album, issued on August 24, 1994.
But during a performance in Yorkshire with his band High Flying Birds, Noel took aim at his brother Liam with comments that appear to confirm their rift shows no sign of ending.
Since the acrimonious breaking up of the band in 2009 the brothers have gone their separate ways with Liam forming Beady Eye, and having huge success recently as a solo artist.
