A new ‘all-in-one’ store has launched at the heart of an Ayrshire community providing a deli, dessert bar, and an impressive ‘beer cave’.Key Store More has opened its doors in Prestwick after owners converted an old corner shop and house into a mega convenience shop.Customers have already been flocking to the Adamton Road North store which has filled a retail gap in a huge residential area.Behind the new shop Nick Kooner, who at just 25 has launched his second South Ayrshire store after overseeing the Key Store in Ayr’s Forehill.Nick told Ayrshire Live: “I wanted this to be more than a shop.“When I looked at the area – I found there was nothing really here.

It’s a really densely populated area but the nearest shops are on Prestwick Main Street.“The idea is that you could literally do your weekly shop here, whilst grabbing lunch or a morning roll.

It will save you the trip going to three separate places.”The shop features a full deli food to go which as well as offering breakfast and lunch, also serves up loaded fries, salt and chilli chicken options, and a burger bar.For those with a sweet tooth, the shop also has a full dessert bar, which features milkshakes, cakes, ice cream and warm cookie dough.A refreshment station is also proving to be popular, with youngsters piling in to try Tango Ice Blasts and new Fanta and Coca Cola versions of the cool offerings. The store also boasts an impressive ‘beer cave’ - a huge walk-in fridge which keeps wines, beers and ciders cold, which owners say is an Ayrshire first.“We wanted to bring new innovative concepts to the store, the beer cave has never been done before in Ayrshire.
