One in three, or 35 per cent, of English households – equivalent to 7.2 million households – will see higher energy bills this winter than they did last winter, including almost half (47 per cent) of those in the poorest households, according to new research published by Resolution Foundation on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

Rising energy costs, the cost-of-living crisis, and energy-inefficient homes are restricting people’s options, with many having to make the impossible choice of "heating or eating", says Airgon.

But a new energy-saving device could be the answer to lowering those ever-increasing energy bills. Airgon is a British-designed and manufactured appliance, founded by northwest-based inventor, Charles Ross, that attaches to the heating system and makes the radiators hotter, potentially increasing the amount of heat transferred for less fuel.

It also works to prevent cold spots from building up in the radiators. Used correctly, Airgon can increase thermal transfer from radiators, and on older systems - typically over four years old - could improve system efficiency.
