A large gang of youths 'causing chaos' on a busy Edinburgh street sparked a major police response.Multiple marked cars and vans were spotted outside the Balmoral Hotel on Princes Street last night following reports of a 'disturbance'.The area, close to Waverley Steps and the train station, was heaving with people heading to and from the nearby Christmas Market.A picture shared with Edinburgh Live shows at least five police vehicles at the scene with one van parked horizontally across Princes Street.
