Netflix Orders 'Twilight' Animated Series, Will Focus On Stephenie Meyer's 'Midnight Sun' Book

The hit book and movie franchise from author Stephenie Meyer has had a television series in the works for over a year now, and the latest news is that it will follow the events of her 2020 book “Midnight Sun.” Keep reading to find out more… For those that don’t know, “Midnight Sun” is a retelling of “Twilight” from Edward Cullen’s point of view. Stephenie will serve as an executive producer on the project, alongside Lionsgate Television, who owns the film and television rights to the franchise.
Tell Me Lies‘ Sinead Daly is slated to write and executive produce the series. Twilight, of course, starred Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, along with Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and more.
