Kevin van Veen played through the pain barrier to earn Motherwell three points against Livingston on Saturday, and says it would have taken a broken bone to get him off the pitch.The 31-year-old Dutchman took a dead leg early on and received treatment at the side of the pitch, but sent a screamer rocketing into the top right corner in nine minutes, and doubled his and Motherwell’s tally with a driven finish in 33 minutes.Max Johnston bagged a third 60 seconds later, and sealed the win, which puts Motherwell clear in eighth place, three points behind Livi in seventh.Van Veen said: “I had a dead leg, but I wanted to continue and soldier on, because I feel good and I don’t want to stop.“I’d need to really break something for me to get out of that team, I’d need to be very hurt to get me off that pitch.“I always want to play, I always want to win, and I always want to do my best for my team, so I stayed on and got two amazing finishes again.“For the first goal it was a really good ball from James [Furlong] and I’ve got that ability to take a touch and lure the defenders in, so I got half a yard and a left-foot banger flew into the net, so it was an amazing feeling.“It was a really good team goal and an amazing feeling.”Van Veen was all smiles after the win, but was quite serious about the transformation Motherwell have undergone under new boss Stuart Kettlewell, with five wins and a draw from his seven games in charge.“We beat Livingston 3-0 and I wouldn’t say it’s two fingers in the nose, but we were comfortable, we were dominant, and we weren’t even at our best.“If we can do that against Hibs and Livingston, what’s next for us if we keep believing, keep working hard and keep our heads down?“We’re in a very good frame of
