Mikaela Hoover & Christopher McDonald Join 'Superman' Movie
justjared.comTwo more stars have joined the cast of Superman! On Friday (June 7), it was announced that Mikaela Hoover and Christopher McDonald have been cast in the upcoming DC superhero movie written and directed by James Gunn.
The 39-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy actress and the 69-year-old Hacks actor will be play staff members at the Daily Planet newspaper where Clark Kent/Superman (David Corenswet) and Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) work. Keep reading to find out more…According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mikaela will be playing Cat Grant, who in the comics was a gossip columnist who has her eyes set on Clark Kent. Christopher has been cast as Ron Troupe, one of the best reporters at the newspaper. Mikaela and Christopher‘s castings come after a Saturday Night Live alum also recently joined the cast.
