The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

After US President Joe Biden shockingly announced that he would withdraw from his re-election campaign, Michelle Obama has been hailed as the "only person who can beat Donald Trump".The former First Lady of the United States is no stranger to politics having supported her husband Barack Obama for almost ten years when he was president.

On Sunday, 21 July, just four months before the US election, it was revealed that current President Joe Biden, 81, will not be running for re-election.

Instead, he has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democrat presidential candidate in the race against Trump. However, many have now rallied behind Michelle Obama, who served as the First Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017.

Dragons' Den star Steven Bartlett previously voiced his opinion and wrote: "At this point only Michelle can beat Trump.That is fact." Steven's sentiment has been echoed by others on X, following Biden's re-election announcement on social media.
