The actress has been hard at work filming as she is set to star in Fool Me Once, the new Netflix adaptation of bestselling author Harlan Coben's book.
She revealed the news of her next big role to her fans and followers back in February with a photo of her posing at a poolside in a bikini with the bestselling book in hand as she declared: "Finally the secrets out!!" Michelle, who rose to fame after playing Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, will take on the lead role of Maya Stern, who is trying to come to terms with the brutal murder of her husband, Joe (Obsession's Richard Armitage).
