MacIntyre saw off the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Tyrrell Hatton who faded on the final few holes before a two-point lead at -14 saw the 26-year-old look set for glory.MacIntyre spoke of being up for a 'scrap' on the Sunday showdown that saw 40mph winds forecasted as the home advantage swung in MacIntyre's favour after McIlroy knocked in a birdie to set up a grandstand finish.
