Edward Regan Murphy (born April 3, 1961) is an American actor, comedian, and singer.
Murphy was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984. He has worked as a stand-up comedian and was ranked No. 10 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.
In films, Murphy has received Golden Globe Award nominations for his performances in 48 Hrs., the Beverly Hills Cop series, Trading Places, The Nutty Professor, and Dolemite Is My Name. In 2007, he won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of soul singer James "Thunder" Early in Dreamgirls.

ok.co.ukSpice Girls star Mel B has admited that she sees "dead people" as she has opened up about her comforting talent. Next year marks 30 years of the Spice Girls, and since they took off Mel, 48, has been in the spotlight.
Once she hit the big time with the band Mel admitted that she needed to use reiki healing.That was to help Mel with her anxiety before heading out on stage with her band.
Speaking to The Sun, Mel B admitted that she became a reiki master when she was just 19. She said: "I became a reiki master when I was 19 so I’m very in tune with chakras and energies. "Not too much where I’m going to bore you and sound like a hippy, but just enough where I know things.The other girls call me Witchy Woo — but a good witch." While Mel also admitted that she sees dead people as she claimed that it is "nice" and "comforting." To mark their 30th anniversary in 2024, it is expected that Mel B will join up with Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton.
And ahead of what is expected to be a busy year for Mel, she has said that her work ethic comes from her parents.The singer has said that when she was younger she watched her parents work incredibly hard and that means she has had the same work ethic from a young age.
