ITV's This Morning has been nominated for a National Television Award despite the controversy surrounding the show's former presenter Phillip Schofield.
The 61-year-old resigned from ITV and left his talent agency after it was discovered he had been in a relationship with a younger male colleague at the show.
Holly Willoughby continues to host the show in his absence along with a series of guest co-hosts. Meanwhile, MPs have asked ITV bosses to address claims of toxicity and bullying behind the scenes of the show.
This Morning has been nominated for best daytime show at the National Television Awards, which it won last year. It will defend its title against The Chase, Loose Women and The Repair Shop.
