Masked gang caught on camera before making off with gold and luxury cars

A masked gang raided a home and stole gold and watches before making off with two luxury cars. The hooded thugs were caught on camera as they crept through the back garden of a plush property in Kirkcaldy, Fife, at around 6.30pm on Friday.

One man can be seen brandishing a crowbar in the footage, while holding what appeared to be a black safe in his other hand. Another man, wearing red gloves, is seen clutching a knife.Police are now probing the break-in after CCTV footage also captured the three balaclava-clad men moving round to the front of the house before speeding off in a black Mercedes and white BMW that had been parked in the driveway.Homeowner Ahsan Javaid was visiting Saudi Arabia for Umrah - an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca - when the robbery took place.

He has been left devastated by the invasion on his home. Appealing to the public for information to help catch the crooks, Ahsan said: "Our house was broken into while we are out of the country."We are away to Umrah, so they must have been monitoring the house.
