Manchester United are reportedly set to make a move for Luton Town midfielder Ross Barkley in the summer. According to The Sun, INEOS' Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford are big fans of the English midfielder who spent last season at OGC Nice.

Barkley was used infrequently in France and departed the club in the summer to join Premier League new boys Luton Town. Since his move back to the top flight, the 30-year-old has enjoyed a new lease of life and has played just four matches less than he did for Nice in the entirety of last season.

Luton boss Rob Edwards has played Barkley as a central midfielder as well as a defensive midfielder which is thought to have caught the eye of United.
