Man with disgusting past caught performing vile act in pub
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA pensioner with a perverted past left a woman 'shocked' after she discovered him performing a lewd act in a pub. David Nightingale had been in the pub for around an hour when the woman witnessed his disgusting actions.
The 75-year-old from Bacup, near Rochdale, was caught with his trousers unzipped and performing an indecent act. Lancashire Police says that after the victim told her partner what Nightingale was doing, he covered himself back up and left the pub.
The incident took place at around 6.30pm on June 30, at a pub on Parker Lane, in Burnley. Nightingale, who has previous convictions for exposure, was identified via CCTV and arrested yesterday morning (July 13). He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for seven years. DC Leigh Palfreeman, of Burnley CID, said: “Nightingale’s behaviour was disgusting and understandably left the victim shocked.
