A man on trial for drug dealing tried to bribe a juror to find him not guilty. Daniel Perry, 38, was accused of supplying class A drugs and offered a young woman money to spray paint her car if she found him innocent.

Perry, who was part of a larger drug business and dealt cocaine in Redcar, Teeside, is now serving ten-and-a-half years for the conspiracy.

His friend Craig Osbourne, 31, was seen talking to Perry outside Teesside Crown Court. Osbourne knew one of the jurors, Jade Bainbridge, through her ex-boyfriend and gave her number to Perry, TeesideLive reports.

Even though jurors are not allowed to talk about the trial, Bainbridge told Perry and Osbourne that the jury were planning to find Perry guilty.
