Alaina Nwosa, 20, a law student at Birmingham University originally from Ware, Hertfordshire, was occasionally teased at school for having albinism, an inherited condition that affects the production of melanin, the pigment that colours the skin, hair and eyes.
Alaina finds being a black woman with albinism "challenging", especially because she "never saw anyone else with albinism" in the media and pop culture so, when she was 17, she began sharing her experiences on social media to be "that representation" and help others "identify themselves".
